There are a range of things our alumni go on to do after completing an M.A. in Arts Politics. Each year, the M.A. Arts Politics cohort is made up of individuals with a great diversity of experiences, interests, skills and goals. Please review our Alumni Page to see more information about the people who have passed through the program.
We have identified a few professional tracks with which our students and alumni seem to align. They are: Education (K-12, Musuem education, Teaching Artists, etc...), Curation, Scholarship (often pursuing terminal degrees such as PhD), Activism/ Organizing, Art (delving deeper into an artistic practice, sometimes pursuing an MFA).
Please note that many times our students exist among and between a few of these categories. We do not require students to identify themselves within these and we encourage the blurring of such boundaries. The definitiveness of these tracks seeks to provide prospective students with a larger sense of the department’s teachings and priorities.
