ABOUT STEPHANIE TROYAK
Canadian-born Stephanie Troyak has experienced so much in her young life. She started dancing at the age of three, and in 2017 at just 22, she became a member of the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch. Since then she has appeared in over 10 works by Pina Bausch, as well as two new pieces from 2018 by Alan Lucien Øyen and Dimitris Papaioannou. For her role as Anna II in Bausch’s The Seven Deadly Sins she was nominated for the prestigious theater prize Faust in 2018 for the category Best Dancer/Actress. In addition, she was named one of Dance Magazine’s coveted "25 to Watch" for 2019.
