Clinton High School Students
Tisch + Clinton High School
Tisch Open Arts has begun a new series of collaborations with Clinton High School, working with juniors and seniors to practice the art of interviewing. For Tisch Day of Community 2018, Clinton high schoolers came to Tisch to learn some basics of lighting, camera techniques, and sound! Students had an opportunity to conduct their own interviews with each other, discussing issues of identity, creativity, and community.
Tisch + PS3
Tisch + PS3
Tisch Open Arts has partnered with the Tisch Initiative for Creative Research, the Department of Drama, Graduate Musical Theater Writing, and the Department of Dance to produce a series of movement-based workshops with fourth and fifth graders from New York City Elementary School PS3. These workshops joined together Tisch students and faculty with PS3 students and teachers to explore important ideas such as: What does community mean? How do we create community? What divides communities/people? How do we find ways to cross over those divides?
Tisch Open Arts looks forward to continuing work with the PS3 and the New York community to share with others the important work being done at Tisch School of the Arts.
