Dr. Deborah Willis, Chair of the Department of Photography and Imaging at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, served as a judge on the panel for the inaugural Leica Women Foto Project Award. This award, consisting of a $10,000 grant and a 1-year loan of a Leica Q2 camera, was given to three outstanding female photographers who demonstrate the importance and impact of a woman’s point of view. The Leica Gallery Boston will showcase these photographs from March 5, 2020 through April 26, 2020.
