Professional Courses

Tisch School of the Arts Professional Courses are for those interested in continuous learning.

Short courses provide working professionals and adult learners opportunities to build on an existing skill or receive introductory knowledge in a new area of the media industry. Conveniently scheduled weekday, weeknight, or weekend hours gives you many opportunities to meet your goals of personal growth or career advancement.

Professional Courses are offered year round. NYU alumni receive a 10% discount.

Intro to DaVinci Resolve

Become a DaVinci Resolve Certified User! Over three days, this hands-on class will cover the complete editing workflow including: setting up projects, importing and managing media, editing clips in the timeline, working with titles, graphics, audio and video effects, as well as sound mixing, basic color correction, and finishing and delivering a project. This course culminates with a certification exam.

With Intro to DaVinci Resolve you will be able to use the world’s first solution that combines professional offline and online editing, color correction, audio post production, and now, visual effects, all in one software tool!

DaVinci Resolve set the standard for color grading in the film industry. Below, we feature a free video tutorial for those looking to delve more into color correction.
